Actions

Scripted actions can be attached to a display configuration and will, by default, be run whenever that display configuration becomes active. By unchecking the “Run only on display configuration change” checkbox, an action can be made to run when windows are manually restored in addition to when its display configuration becomes active.

AppleScript Actions

To add a new AppleScript action to Stay, click the plus button, then select “AppleScript Action”.

Shell Script Actions

To add a new Shell Script action to Stay, click the plus button, then select “Shell Script Action”.

Importing an Action from a File

To import an existing script into Stay, click the plus button, then select “Import from File…”.
